Race 4

Wind: Force 4-5        Temp: 25^oC    Sunny And Gusty

This Race was held on Saturday 29th July 2006. With the wind gusting up to a Force 6, Several Boats Took To The Water.

Just minutes after the start while close to the front of the fleet, Steve Willis capsized his Sprint 15. He carried on for about 15 minutes before he retired.

Shortly after  This Josh Humphries capsized for the first time however this was not his last. Approx halfway though the first race, he capsized again but this time he could not right his boat without the help of the safety boat, as he had caught his mast head in the mud. After This he decided that he would also Retire.
