Race 1

Wind: Force 4-5 gusting 6     Weather: Overcast

This was a better race for the 5, 18's who apart from being unable to beat Kevin again, took 2nd 3rd and 4th places, Joan & Steve just beat Chris and Dave and Bob & Bill, good fun, close racing throughout.  John Holmes has got the hang of capsizing after the Sprint 15 weekend so had to do it again!! and retired. 

  This was a cat only race as Ben in the Laser had had enough after the first race of the day!! using his full power mainsail!!

Race 2

Wind:  Force 3-4 With wind picking up under the clouds        Weather: Sunny with lots of clouds

Lots of boats entered this race and as the wind began to drop at the beginning of the race Jeff Kiddle decided to give up, after Touching a mark, and therefore retired. the race continued and the wind began to pick up under the oncoming clouds. in the end a good sail was had by all.

The Dinghy Fleet was won by Ben Saunders in his Laser (21498)    Second went to Alex Jibb in his Solo (1784)            Third Went to Phillip Hadaway + Valerie Lachman in Phil's Miracle (2992) And following in forth was Dave and Sarah in Dave's Hornet.

The Cat Fleet was won by Kevin Dutch in his Sprint 15 (640)    Second Went to Steve and Joan in there Dart 18 (6441)    Third went to Pat Fulcher in his Sprint 15 (1484) with David Stafford Coming in forth while using his dads boat.

Race 6

Wind:  4-5        Temp: 25oC            Overcast With Sunny Spells

Today was an enjoyable day had by all, as there was just enough wind for a good sail.

In the Dinghy Fleet two boats went out: Dave Lincoln in his Solo and Phillip Hadaway In his Miracle. However it was Dave Lincoln who managed to win.

In The Cat Fleet six Sailors ventured out: Steve Willis, Joan Willis, Jeff Kiddle, John Dutch All in there Sprint 15's also Alan and Sarah on the Helcat and Ben Saunders and his Friend Chris On The Condor that has recently been brought by Sarah.

In The End John Dutch Managed To Win the Race.
