CLUB CRUISING

Cruising Programme for 2007

Whilst, this year, the Club is organising, in the main Sailing Programme, several evening or early morning cruises for those in a time warp, a number of members individually choose to sail during some weekday afternoons. They have tended to meet up on Wednesday afternoons and on occasion have been known to sail up Faversham Creek to their favourite watering hole, the ‘Shipwrights Arms’ , over to Leysdown or back to hold a beach BBQ. This article describes a typical cruise.

Below is a table of the dates when tides are reasonable and when some individuals may be out sailing.

This sailing is NOT organised by the club and the patrol boat will NOT be out. – most of those sailing take mobile phones with them for personal safety. It is turn up and see who may choose to go out, subject to weather conditions. In most cases those going sailing try to be on the water about 1 ½ hours before high water.

This Table Will Be Done Shortly!
